You will be working hand-in-hand with our Client Care Manager to deliver exceptional support and elevate the experience for both our clients and dedicated caregivers. You will be the face of our company for new clients’ transitions and a trusted mentor to incoming staff. This role requires someone who has excellent work ethics - is professional, reliable, outgoing and polished!
- Rapid Response Care: Provide emergency shift coverage for urgent client needs (arrival within 90 minutes of notification).
- Field Leadership: Introduce new caregivers to families and provide on-site mentorship and training.
- Case Transitions: Start care for new clients to ensure a seamless transition to permanent staffing.
- Specialized Caregiving: Execute high-level care for seniors, including Memory Care and hospice support.
- Care Coordination: Review and provide feedback on client care plans to improve health outcomes.
- Daily Support: Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
- On-Call Status: During these hours, you are expected to be available to respond to urgent client needs. When not actively working an assigned shift, or working in our office, you are considered "on-call." While on-call, you are free to use your time for personal activities, provided you are able to report to a client’s home within 90 minutes of being contacted. On-call time is not considered compensable work time unless you are actively performing duties for the agency.
- Hourly Rate: $24.00 per hour for all time spent actively working client shifts or performing agency-directed tasks.
- Guaranteed Minimum: To provide income stability, we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of pay per week. If your total active working hours in a given week fall below 30, the agency will provide additional pay to ensure you are compensated for 30 hours.
- Overtime: You will earn 1.5x your hourly rate for all active work hours exceeding 40 hours in a single workweek.
- Certification: Active or recent CNA License in Massachusetts. Recently expired licenses in good standing will be considered.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Home Care, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF).
- Specialized Skills: Proven expertise in Dementia Care and End-of-Life/Hospice protocols.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to train and lead a team.
- Logistics: Valid Driver’s License and a reliable, insured vehicle (must be willing to transport clients).
- Environment: Comfortable working in homes with pets and/or smokers.
