We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and experienced Care Lead to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Care Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily care of our clients, providing exceptional support, and leading a team of caregivers. This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is looking to make a real impact in the community by helping others lead a better quality of life.
- Lead and coordinate care for clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Provide direct, hands-on care, including assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Oversee and mentor a team of caregivers, offering guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards of care.
- Create, implement, and review individualized care plans for clients in collaboration with families and healthcare providers.
- Monitor client progress and well-being, documenting observations and making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Travel between clients’ homes in the Grand Rapids area, providing care and ensuring services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving or healthcare-related roles.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both clients and team members.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel throughout the Grand Rapids area to deliver care.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience supervising or leading a team of caregivers.
- Background in home healthcare or senior care services.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
