We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Lead to join our team in Benton Harbor, MI. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the healthcare field, specifically as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to our clients. As a Care Lead, you will oversee the care of clients within the Benton Harbor area, ensuring they receive personalized, supportive, and professional assistance.
- Provide direct care to clients, including assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders.
- Oversee a small team of caregivers to ensure proper care is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Coordinate client care plans, including managing appointments, transportation, and providing status updates to family members and healthcare providers.
- Ensure that all care is provided in accordance with company policies, state regulations, and the clients' individual needs.
- Assist with client activities to promote well-being and quality of life.
- Travel to client locations within Benton Harbor and surrounding areas to deliver care.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a caregiving or healthcare role.
- Must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the Benton Harbor area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate, dependable, and highly motivated to provide excellent care.
- Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
- Competitive starting pay of $16 per hour.
