- Answer all phone calls outside of regular office hours (weekdays - 4:30 pm-8:00 am; weekends or holidays – 8:00 am-8:00 am).
- Politely and efficiently resolve any client service issues, scheduling issues or adjustments.
- Monitor the on-call email for any missed clock-ins / outs and voicemails – check these at least every 3 hours on weekends and 2 hours on weekends.
- Track all incoming calls, missed check-ins, and voicemails in the on-call log; respond to each as needed.
- Serve as “jump and run” caregiver in times where you are unable to fill shifts. This is an essential requirement of the position.
- Any other tasks requested by Touching Hearts Office Staff
- Must have experience and comfortability providing Home Health Aide level care
- After Hours Scheduling Coordinator must have reliable phone service and internet access throughout their shift.
- After Hours Scheduling Coordinator must be available and able to answer and respond to incoming phone calls throughout their shift.
- When not actively taking calls or completing follow through, After Hours Scheduling Coordinator is free to utilize their time as they see fit, as long as they are able to meet the above requirements.
- Monday - Friday: $60 per night; Saturday and Sunday = $120 per day
- PLUS $20.00 an hour if you must cover a shift' $21 on weekends
- We would also love to have you work as a Home Health Aide for Touching Hearts outside of the on-call position!
- Valid driver's license AND registered vehicle.
- 1 year of experience in an administrative role within office or customer service setting; preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Personal or professional experience working as Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Proficient scheduling software
- Passion for helping seniors remain safe and independent wherever they call home.
