At Life’s At Home Care, we don’t just provide care — we bring comfort, connection, and peace of mind to the families we serve. We’re seeking a dedicated Lead Care Provider (Floater) to deliver exceptional care while supporting our team across Hampton Roads.
Active PCA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant certification is required.
Applicants must provide a hard or soft copy of their certificate/license on or before the interview.
This isn’t just about filling shifts — it’s about leading with purpose. As a Lead Care Provider, you’ll step in where help is needed most, ensure consistent high-quality care, and serve as a mentor to fellow caregivers.

🚗 Travel between client homes in Suffolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News and Hampton
🧭 Cover care shifts (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM)
👥 Mentor and support caregivers in the field
🛁 Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, feeding)
🧺 Light housekeeping and laundry
🍽️ Meal preparation and dietary assistance
💊 Medication reminders & documentation
💬 Provide companionship and emotional support
📋 Assist with new client transitions and special assignments
✔ Active PCA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant certification ( Required – No Exceptions )
✔ At least 1 year of caregiving experience
✔ Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation (travel required)
✔ Confidence working independently
✔ Professionalism, flexibility, and compassion
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
