Life's at Home Care is a privately owned home healthcare providing a variety of non-medical services, including companionship and home care services that can help families restore balance, order, and peace to their lives.
 
We are seeking a Lead Care Provider interested in assisting a variety of seniors on an on-call basis. This position entails a guaranteed 40 hours per week, which will include training and mentoring caregivers, if not providing care for our clients in the community.  **RESPONSIBILITIES AS A FLOATER CARE PROVIDER**

  • Required to fill in for any shifts between 9 AM and 5 PM as needed.
  • Be available for client service on a call/out basis.
  • Must be able to service any clients.
  • Travel without restrictions to Suffolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Hampton.
  •  **REQUIRED TO HAVE:** Valid driver's license.
  •  **REQUIRED TO HAVE:** Personal vehicle.
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments.
  •  Service immediate start of care with new clients.
  •  Coach and develop caregivers to enhance client success.
  •  Ability to work independently.
  •  Offer companionship and engage in conversations.
  •  Assist with personal care tasks: bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding.
  •  Perform light housekeeping: laundry, linen changing.
  •  Assist in laying out clothes and dressing.
  •  Plan and prepare meals.
  •  Remind clients about medications.
  •  Help family members learn safe care techniques.
  •  Perform other tasks assigned by the Administrator.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
