Our on-line Homewatch CareGivers University training courses helps you increase caregiving skill levels.  Our courses will provide you with training and resources needed to meet the unique care needs of our clients and their specific health-related conditions. As an In-Home Caregiver you will not only be providing a full scope of home care services, but you will also be relied upon to make observations, recognize and communicate changes in our clients. This is why caregivers have been the heart of our business since we began in 1980.

 Job Description

Caregivers are the HEART of our business!  We are looking for reliable caregiver employees that will take pride in providing high quality care for our clients while developing and enriching client relationships. This position allows for a full interaction with the client in their home including assistance with their activities of daily living, maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment, and keeping them engaged with the outside world. This position for full or part-time day or overnight shifts and must be willing to work weekdays or weekends. Starting rate is $13.00  to $14.00 per hour.  You will use an app on your smart phone to track your work schedule.  You will have behind the scenes support from a group of professionals with over 60 plus years of combined experience. The awesome new friends you will make will have a defining impact on your own life as well!

 Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
  • 1 year of adult caregiving experience in a home care setting or skilled facility
  • Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
  • Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license 
  • Must have a reliable and insured vehicle
  • Must have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Compensation: $13.00 per hour
