About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - Yorba Linda is looking for a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors and adults in Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Anaheim and nearby communities. This is your chance to make a real difference by helping clients stay safe, independent and comfortable at home, with dignity and respect. Responsibilities:
- Help clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and incontinence care
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to prevent falls
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings
- Give medication reminders (non-medical; no medication administration)
- Observe and promptly report any changes in a client’s condition, behavior or home safety to the Care Coordinator
- Clock in and out and document each visit through our scheduling app (SwyftOps)
Requirements:
- Active registration on the California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry with Live Scan clearance, or willingness to register (we can guide you through it)
- Caregiving experience is preferred (home care, HHA, CNA, PCA or caring for a family member), but we welcome new caregivers who are eager to learn
- Genuine compassion and patience working with elderly or disabled individuals, including those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s
- Reliable transportation; a valid California driver’s license and auto insurance for assignments that involve driving
- TB clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- Clear communication skills and a dependable, punctual work ethic
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays or overnights

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
