About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Burlington Camden is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team serving the Southampton Township area. This is a rewarding hourly position where you'll make a real difference in the lives of clients by helping them live their best life possible at home. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and independence
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe, clean home environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders in accordance with the care plan
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a related caregiving setting preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the Southampton Township area
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow a personalized care plan
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must pass background check and reference verification
