About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Burlington Camden is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide exceptional in-home care in the Southampton Township area. Responsibilities:
- Provide live-in personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to the supervising nurse
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed
Requirements:
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred
- Ability to live on-site with the client in Southampton Township
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
