About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care - Monmouth is looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our growing team in the Monmouth County area! Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervising staff
- Administer medications as directed and within scope of CHHA certification
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Accurately document care activities and maintain client records
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Prior home care, personal care, or healthcare experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to service clients throughout Monmouth County
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable work ethic
- Ability to pass a background check and reference verification
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus
