Caregiver Responsibilities
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential in-home support that allows clients to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support
- Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Providing medication reminders
- Supporting clients with daily living activities
- Maintaining accurate communication regarding client care needs
- Working in clients' homes with a variety of schedules and shift lengths
Caregiver Requirements
- Current HCA or CNA certification preferred, but not required
- Willingness to complete paid Caregiver training provided by Right at Home
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a written competency evaluation
- Ability to pass a drug screening and nationwide background check
- Reliable, honest, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Strong desire to serve seniors and make a positive impact in the community
