About the Role:
ComForCare HomeCare - South Miami and Coral Gables is looking for a dedicated and compassionate per diem Registered Nurse to join our growing home care team in Miami, FL. This is an per dien role, giving you the flexibility to focus on what you do best — evaluating clients and coordinating exceptional care. Responsibilities:
- Perform non-medical evaluations and document findings accurately
- Assist with competency evaluations of caregivers and conduct supervisory visits
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans based on evaluation outcomes
- Collaborate with care coordinators and home care aides to ensure continuity of care
- Ensure evaluations comply with state, federal, and agency regulatory standards
- Communicate non-medical evaluation results and recommendations clearly to clients, families, and care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with home care guidelines
Requirements:
- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, one of which must have been in providing home health care or community care
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong evaluation and clinical documentation skills
- Experience with home care intake evaluations and supervisory experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and valid insurance for in-home visits throughout Miami-Dade County
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and families
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
