About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - South Miami and Coral Gables is looking for a motivated and organized Home Care Office Administrator to join our dedicated team in Miami, FL. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including phones, scheduling, and correspondence
- Coordinate caregiver and client scheduling to ensure seamless home care service delivery
- Maintain accurate client and employee records in compliance with home care regulations
- Assist with caregiver onboarding, HR documentation, and personnel file management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers
- Support billing, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting jobs and screening applicants
- Ensure compliance with state home care licensing and documentation requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in home health care, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
- At least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or in a facility licensed under Chapter 395 (hospital), Chapter 400 Part II (nursing home), or under Chapter 429, Part I (assisted living)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling or home care software
- Compassionate, professional demeanor with a client-first attitude
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
