About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our caregiving operations — connecting clients with compassionate caregivers and keeping everything running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to ensure consistent, high-quality client coverage
- Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skills, and compatibility
- Communicate daily with caregivers and clients to confirm shifts and address scheduling changes
- Handle last-minute call-offs and find prompt replacements to minimize service disruptions
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and update staffing software in real time
- Collaborate with the care coordination team to support new client onboarding
- Respond to after-hours scheduling needs as required
Requirements:
- Prior scheduling, staffing, or coordination experience preferred, ideally in home care or healthcare
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software, CRMs, or similar digital tools
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly under pressure
- Compassionate, patient, and client-focused demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional on-call availability
