About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care in Chantilly, VA is looking for a caring and dependable Babysitter to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in the Fairfax & Loudoun County area. If you have a passion for nurturing and a heart for helping others, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and educational play
- Prepare light meals and snacks while adhering to dietary needs or restrictions
- Assist with homework, reading, and other learning activities as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children
- Follow established routines including nap times, bedtime, and daily schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the child's day and any concerns
Requirements:
- Prior childcare, babysitting, or nannying experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong references
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills with parents, guardians, and care teams
- Must be located in or able to commute to the Chantilly, VA / Fairfax & Loudoun County area

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
