About the Role:
Right at Home Des Moines is looking for compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our growing team in West Des Moines, IA! We have exciting weekend opportunities available with flexible 4-10 hour shifts Friday through Sunday — perfect for those seeking work-life balance while making a real difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation for clients in the home setting
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to supervising staff
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
- Transport or accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
Requirements:
- Current HHA certification or CNA license in the state of Iowa preferred
- Availability to work weekends — Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday shifts
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a clinical setting is a plus
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for caregiving
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a home environment

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
