As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and relationship-focused Healthcare Marketing & Community Liaison to represent ComForCare Home Care RGV throughout Cameron and Hidalgo Counties.

Position Summary

The Healthcare Marketing & Community Liaison serves as the primary representative of ComForCare Home Care in the community. This individual will build and strengthen relationships with referral partners, educate healthcare professionals about our services, and generate qualified referrals that help grow our agency.

The ideal candidate is confident networking with healthcare professionals, enjoys building long-term relationships, and understands the importance of consistent follow-up and exceptional customer service.

Our Growth Priorities

This position will focus on developing referral relationships that serve:

1. Private Pay Clients
Build relationships with professionals who work with families seeking reliable, compassionate in-home care for aging loved ones.

2. Veterans
Promote ComForCare Home Care as a trusted resource for eligible Veterans transitioning home. We have established relationships with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and understand the VA referral process, allowing us to assist discharge planners and healthcare professionals in connecting Veterans with the services they have earned.

3. Long-Term Care Insurance Clients
Educate families and referral partners about how long-term care insurance benefits can help cover the cost of quality in-home care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, physicians, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior centers, Veterans organizations, and community partners.

  • Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings with referral sources throughout Cameron and Hidalgo Counties.

  • Educate healthcare professionals, families, and community organizations about ComForCare's services and how we help clients safely remain at home.

  • Promote ComForCare Home Care as the preferred provider for private-pay home care, Veteran home care services, and long-term care insurance clients.

  • Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategic partnerships throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

  • Represent ComForCare Home Care at networking events, health fairs, educational presentations, and community outreach activities.

  • Maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners to build trust and long-term relationships.

  • Collaborate with office staff and caregivers to ensure a seamless experience for clients and referral sources.

  • Track outreach activities and referral development efforts.

  • Meet established outreach goals while helping grow referrals and community awareness.

Qualifications

Required

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Professional, confident, and comfortable meeting with healthcare professionals.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Outstanding customer service and presentation abilities.

  • Passion for serving seniors, Veterans, and individuals who wish to remain independent at home.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive office team.

  • Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and basic office technology.

  • Reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout Cameron and Hidalgo Counties.

  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare marketing, physician relations, community outreach, business development, or outside sales.

  • Experience in home care, home health, hospice, rehabilitation, senior living, healthcare, or social services.

  • Existing relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, rehabilitation facilities, or senior care providers in the Rio Grande Valley.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
