About the Role:
Join ComForCare Home Health Care in Slidell, LA as a Caregiver, where you'll make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you care for. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients, and we invite you to be a part of our caring team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Monitor and document clients’ health and behavior changes.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with basic health monitoring techniques.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
