About the Role:
Join ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing personalized care in a supportive environment, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status to the nursing staff.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and client progress in compliance with company policies.
- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
