Western Illinois Home Health Care is hiring a Billing and Payroll Coordinator to support our growing healthcare team. This position plays a key role in payroll processing, medical billing, accounts coordination, and administrative support within a fast-paced home health environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule 
  • Manage medical billing for private pay, insurance, and government programs (Medicare/Medicaid) 
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and claim issues 
  • Verify and track authorizations to ensure services align with approved care 
  • Maintain accurate data entry, records, and documentation compliance 
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely paperwork submission 
  • Assist with accounts receivable, reporting, and general accounting functions 
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, billing, or administrative support 
  • Experience in healthcare billing, home health, or medical office setting preferred 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and data entry systems 
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization 
  • Knowledge of confidentiality standards (HIPAA preferred) 
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills 
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
