About the Role:
Join ComForCare Home Health Care as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Hilton Head, SC, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your compassionate support will empower clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving independence.
- Assist with medication management and health monitoring.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or support role preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
