The Operating Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of ComForCare Home Care, ensuring high-quality non-medical home care services, strong caregiver performance, regulatory compliance, and excellent client satisfaction.
 This role is a working leadership position focused on operations, staffing, scheduling, quality, and community relationships.

Core Responsibilities

Agency Operations

  • Oversee daily office operations for non-medical home care services.

  • Ensure smooth intake, scheduling, service delivery, and documentation processes.

  • Monitor service hours, coverage needs, and operational workflow.

Caregiver & Staffing Management

  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and supervision of caregivers.

  • Support scheduling and on-call coverage to ensure shifts are filled appropriately.

  • Address attendance, performance, and disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy.

Client & Family Oversight

  • Support client intakes, service start-ups, and ongoing care coordination.

  • Ensure client needs are met and concerns are resolved promptly.

  • Maintain high standards for client satisfaction and continuity of care.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure the agency remains compliant with all Oklahoma non-medical home care licensing requirements.

  • Maintain accurate personnel files, client records, and required documentation.

  • Conduct internal quality reviews and assist with surveys, audits, and renewals.

Community & Referral Relationships

  • Maintain professional relationships with hospitals, case managers, senior communities, VA and community partners.

  • Represent the agency professionally within the community.

  • Support referral growth through relationship-based outreach (not commission-driven sales).

Leadership & Team Culture

  • Promote accountability, professionalism, and compassionate care standards.

  • Serve as the primary operational leader.

Required Qualifications

  • Management or leadership experience in home care, healthcare, or a related service environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with state-licensed home care agencies.
  • Strong understanding of non-medical home care operations (scheduling, staffing, client services).
