About the Role
This is a relationship-driven role for someone who thrives on wearing many hats and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. As a Business Development & Sales Representative, you’ll combine client support, community outreach, and sales to help families get the care they need.
You don’t need to be a nurse—but you should be comfortable learning care basics to speak confidently with families, guide them through care options, and build professional relationships. This is a scrappy, self-motivated role where your effort directly drives your results and rewards.
What You’ll Do
Client Support & Intake
- Conduct client consultations and assessments (training provided)
- Help families understand care options and next steps
- Manage intake and onboarding processes
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and families
Community Outreach & Sales
- Build and maintain relationships with referral partners (agencies, rehab facilities, case managers, senior living communities, etc.)
- Proactively follow up and ask for referrals
- Represent the organization professionally in the community
- Identify new opportunities and “scrap” for business to grow your territory
Who This Role Is a Good Fit For
- Self-starters who thrive on autonomy and performance-based rewards
- Comfortable talking with clients, families, and professionals
- Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Motivated by commission and the opportunity to directly impact growth
- Prior clinical, healthcare, or sales experience is a plus—but not required
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Diverse, engaging, “wear-many-hats” work—no monotony
- Daytime-focused hours with no holidays or overnight shifts
- Direct impact on clients and the community
- Performance-based pay tied directly to your effort
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable asking for referrals and building relationships
- Willingness to learn basic care knowledge to support clients
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Self-motivated, scrappy, and ready to make things happen
