Home Care Response Specialist / On-Call Caregiver - Guaranteed 40hrs Full-Time Pay

About the Role / Position Summary
We’re hiring a Home Care Response Specialist (On-Call Caregiver) to support clients and our care team. You’ll be available during business hours 8:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday to respond to callouts or cover open shifts, and occasional pre-scheduled shifts.

Guaranteed pay for 40 hours a week (even if scheduled/worked hours are less)

Typical workload: 25–35 hours per week, based on historical data
- Must be willing to travel throughout our service area (up to 60 miles)
Schedule

Weekdays: On-call Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Weekend Rotation: One weekend per month (Sat & Sun). Two paid weekdays off after weekend rotation. Weekend shift differential of +$0.50/hour.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
Pay & Benefits
- $18.50/hour + mileage reimbursement ($0.50/mile)
- Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40/week
- Weekend bonus: +$0.50/hour

Requirements
- CNA, HHA, or caregiver experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification (within 60 days; we’ll help)
- Ability to lift/transfer clients and provide personal care
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 miles
