Caregiver Trainer/ Coordinator
Job Summary
The Caregiver Coordinator supports caregivers by managing onboarding, training, compliance, retention, and communication to ensure high-quality care and caregiver satisfaction. This is primarily an office-based position with occasional field responsibilities to support caregivers, clients, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Support & Retention
- Serve as the main contact for caregivers and provide ongoing support.
- Conduct regular check-ins and address caregiver concerns.
- Coordinate caregiver recognition programs, birthdays, and appreciation efforts.
- Monitor attendance, reliability, and performance.
Onboarding & Training
- Coordinate caregiver orientation and onboarding.
- Deliver both orientation and Skills training
- Ensure all paperwork, signatures, and documentation are complete and accurate.
- Track required training, certifications, and Relias assignments.
- Maintain accurate caregiver records in WellSky.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain updated records for:
- Background checks
- Annual reviews and supervision
- Training and dementia certifications
- CNA licenses, driver’s licenses, insurance, and First Aid certifications
- Healthcare declarations and competency tests
- Identification, Social Security, and work authorization documents
Scheduling & Coordination
- Assist with caregiver-client matching.
- Communicate regularly with the Scheduling Manager.
- Help resolve scheduling conflicts and coverage needs.
- Participate in on-call duties once per month, including evenings and weekends as assigned.
- Help cover shifts if needed
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between caregivers, clients, and families.
- Partner with HR and leadership on caregiver retention and development strategies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, or CNA is a must
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with WellSky and Care Academy preferred.
- Detail-oriented, compassionate, and professional.
