Role Overview:
You will be responsible for providing personal care and enriching our clients' life. Through patience and desire to help others, you will be able to give a meaningful and customized care. You show up everyday and give it your best with a positive attitude and keeping our clients' best interest in mind. This job requires transfers from and to wheelchair without a gait belt to maximize independence. Communication, transparency and attention to detail is a priority for the well-being of the client. Meals included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive client's vehicle to outings
- Available for 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm)
- Perform transfers without gait belt.
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and light exercise.
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure the well-being and comfort of clients.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- You are professional and a great listener.
- Patience, coachable, punctuality, and great communication.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification or experience working with individuals who require transfers.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in providing personal care and support to individuals.
- Great attention to detail and organized.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time or Part-time. 24-36 hours per week, every week. 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) At least 2 out of 3 days: Friday - Sunday.
