Touching Hearts at Home is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive agency growth through professional referrals, partnerships, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a results-oriented salesperson with strong networking skills and a proven track record in sales - specifically in the healthcare, senior living or home care spaces.

The BDM will develop, manage, and expand relationships with referral sources including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, social workers, and care managers. This is not a marketing-only or community relations position — this is a true sales and relationship management role with measurable business development targets tied to revenue and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and nurture referral relationships that drive growth of new clients and service hours.
  • Conduct regular visits to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior living communities, and other complimentary services.
  • Represent Touching Hearts at community events, professional networking groups, and senior-focused organizations.
  • Track and analyze referral trends, conversion rates, and source activity in CRM software.
  • Conduct intakes to bring in new clients including signing of paperwork and drafting high level initial care plan.
  • Execute a relationship-based sales strategy that aligns with our core values of compassion, commitment, consideration and communication.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in healthcare, senior living or home care related field.
  • Proven success in relationship management and referral generation.
  • Strong presentation, networking, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable managing results independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required).
What we offer:
  • Starting base salary ~$70,000/year plus up to $20,000 in bonuses based on meeting goals.
  • Mileage reimbursement and business expense coverage.
  • FREE Telehealth benefit
  • Paid time off (PTO) and paid sick leave.
  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development.
  • A supportive leadership team with a proven track record of operational excellence and growth.
  • **Please note, we do not currently offer a 401K or Health Insurance. We hope to add these things as our organization grows, but it is not something currently offered. If you need these benefits, we encourage you not to apply for this role.**
