Job Description:

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities. Your role will include helping clients with personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal hygiene needs.
  • Mobility Assistance: Aid clients with walking, transferring, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Household Tasks: Light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a tidy living space.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take medications as prescribed and provide reminders when necessary.
  • Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in health, behavior, or emotional well-being to the appropriate parties.
Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Certification: CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (but not required). Training will be provided.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift, assist with mobility, and perform light housekeeping tasks.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have access to reliable transportation.
