Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver with hands-on experience in providing personal care and specialized support for clients requiring feeding tube management. The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health and safety, and ensuring comfort and dignity for each client in their care.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Safely administer and manage tube feedings (G-tube, NG-tube, or PEG tube as applicable) according to the care plan and physician’s instructions.
• Monitor feeding tube function, cleanliness, and insertion site condition, promptly reporting changes or concerns.
• Prepare and administer prescribed nutrition, flushes, and medications (if within scope and permitted by state regulations).
• Keep accurate daily documentation of feedings, fluid intake, bowel movements, and overall client condition.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation (for other household members or client’s non-restricted diet if applicable), laundry, and errands as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with family members, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding the client’s condition.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent; CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred.
• Proven experience with feeding tube care (minimum 6 months preferred).
• Knowledge of infection control, safe handling of feeding equipment, and emergency procedures.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for caregiving.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients up to 50 lbs.
• Extended periods of standing, bending, and assisting with mobility.
• Fine motor skills required for handling feeding tubes and medical supplies.

• 12 Hour Shifts
