Homewatch CareGivers is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based support to families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Our mission is to ensure every family feels informed, empowered, and cared for during one of the most important transitions of their lives.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a warm, professional, and reliable Doula (birth and/or postpartum) to join our team. In this role, you will provide emotional, physical, and informational support to clients before, during, and/or after childbirth. You will work closely with families, medical providers, and our support staff to create a safe, supportive environment for both the birthing person and their family.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous emotional and physical support during labor and birth.
  • Offer evidence-based information to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Assist with comfort measures such as breathing techniques, positioning, and massage.
  • Advocate for the client’s preferences while respecting medical guidance.
  • Support families in the postpartum period with newborn care, feeding guidance, and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain open and compassionate communication with clients and their support networks.
  • Document services and maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Birth and/or Postpartum Doula (DONA, CAPPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Prior doula experience is highly valued but not required for the right candidate.
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, grounded, and supportive in high-stress situations.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility for on-call work (for birth doulas).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
