Would you prefer variety during your day to visit several Clients and Caregivers throughout the day? You will start by being trained by current Caregivers as a backup for each of their Clients. Once you are comfortable with our existing Clients you will help with setting up new Clients and introducing them to their new Caregiver. There will also be opportunities to learn other roles such as working in the office or delivering birthday gifts to Clients and Caregivers. This is a fun role for someone who likes variety and doesn’t mind driving to new locations. If you are already an UBER driver, this would be a more fulfilling and meaningful opportunity for you. We are looking for a Home Care Aide or CNA to join our team and help shape our future! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes as well as working with our office staff to expand your skills within this industry. 

You must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record. If you drive your own car we will the current IRS rate per mile plus the time you spend driving is considered paid time. Your salary guarantees you a predictable wage. You can earn referral bonuses. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
  • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
  • Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor 
  • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert 
  • Engage patients in exercises or other activities 
  • Act as a backup Caregiver
  • Train and mentor other Caregivers
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide or CNA program 
  • One year prior professional experience 
  • Driver’s license required 
  • CPR certification required

Compensation: $21.00 per hour
