ComForCare Central KC, a franchisee of a long-standing leader in home care, is looking for an Assistant Office Administrator to support our growing operation. For nearly 30 years, ComForCare has empowered individuals to age in place and live their best lives possible. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll primarily assist with, general operational and administrative support along with caregiver scheduling & management. This role will work closely with the owner and Dir. of Operations to support our growing business. This position offers flexible growth potential; your duties and hours can expand as our business grows, or you can maintain a consistent part-time role.
The successful candidate MUST have experience and proven success in business operational support.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Reside in the Greater Kansas City Metro area (The office is in north Overland Park)
- Have at least one year of experience as an employee of a home health agency or in a related health care service
- Some experience managing staff
- A baccalaureate or associate's degree
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with technology and open and excited to learn new tools.
This is a part time position but can grow and expand as the operation grows if that is the desire of the associate. The initial work will be a few hours; 5 days a week, primarily remote with the occasional need to come to the office.
The ideal candidate could be stepping back from full time work but still wants to be engaged and wants to have an impact on the community and the operation. It will be completely acceptable to bring a young child to the office.
