Position Overview
As an On-Call Caregiver, you will serve as a dependable resource during caregiver absences or urgent shift needs. You must be flexible, highly detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Your availability and responsiveness will play a critical role in supporting our clients and care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Remain on standby during your assigned on-call week (Tuesday to Monday coverage)
- Be available to report to a client’s home at any time during your on-call period
- Accurately follow each client’s Care Plan and complete necessary tasks
- Utilize web-based tools for care documentation and task management
- Attend all assigned or emergency shifts as required
Requirements

Experienced caregiver with hands-on skills
- Proficient in using equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and wheelchairs
- Valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of patient scheduling experience is a plus
- Proficiency with software applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Previous home health care experience required
- Must be dependable and committed to work during assigned on-call weeks
