- Provide one-on-one support to an individual with autism in a home or community setting
- Assist with daily living activities (e.g., meals, hygiene, routines)
- Implement behavior support strategies as needed
- Foster communication, social skills, and emotional regulation

- Maintain a calm, consistent, and supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and care team
- Keep accurate documentation of activities and observations
- Stay updated on caregiving skills by completing 12 hours of annual training through our Caregiver Universi
- Previous caregiving experience, specifically with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Understanding of autism-related behaviors and communication styles
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Background check required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative, engaging, and empathetic approach
- Commitment to promoting independence and dignity
