Job Title: Caregiver Position Available Immediately in Portage, MI – Experience Required
Job Description: Are you an experienced caregiver looking for immediate work in Portage, MI? We have urgent openings for reliable caregivers who are passionate about providing excellent care to individuals in need. This position requires previous caregiving experience and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Offer emotional support and companionship
- Administer medications and assist with mobility as required
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping duties
- Monitor and record client health status, reporting any changes to family or healthcare providers
- Ensure client safety and comfort at all times
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience required (minimum of 1 year)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and dependable
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred, but not required
- Flexible availability for various shifts
