Job Title: Immediate Openings for Experienced Caregivers in Portage, MI
Job Description: We are seeking qualified and experienced caregivers for urgent openings in Portage, MI. If you have a proven track record in providing high-quality care and are passionate about helping others, we want you to join our team. These positions are for individuals who are reliable, compassionate, and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with medication reminders and daily health monitoring
- Support clients with mobility, including transferring in and out of bed
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Record observations and report changes in client condition to family and healthcare professionals
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required
- Must be able to work flexible hours
