Job Title: Urgent Hiring: Experienced Caregiver in Portage, MI
Job Description: We are urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to provide quality care to clients in Portage, MI. If you have previous caregiving experience and a passion for improving the lives of others, we want you on our team! Immediate openings are available for reliable and experienced caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and administer medications as needed
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor clients' health conditions and report changes to family members or healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience or similar role
- Must have a valid background check and drug screening clearance
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and families
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient
- Flexible availability for various shifts
