Job Title: Urgent Hiring for Experienced Caregiver in Kalamazoo, MI
Job Description: We are looking for a qualified caregiver to start immediately in Kalamazoo, MI. If you have previous experience in providing care to individuals in need, we want you on our team! This is an urgent hiring opportunity for compassionate and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and record health status, and report any changes to family or healthcare providers
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfer support
- Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
- Administer medications as directed by a healthcare professional
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of caregiving experience or related healthcare experience
- Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Strong empathy, patience, and reliability
- Able to communicate effectively with clients and family members
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and reference check
- CPR/First Aid certification is an advantage
