We are seeking dedicated and skilled Physical Therapists/Occupational Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in physical therapy or Occupational Therapy with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients across various settings, including geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care. This role requires expertise in anatomy knowledge and medical terminology, along with the ability to follow effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Rate applies to visits up to 2 hours.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical, cognitive and sensory abilities.
- Implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery and improve functionalities.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals within home community care environments to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Communicate with office staff effectively in cases of emergency or concern
- Proven experience in physical and occupational therapy practices, preferably in geriatrics, orthopedics, or acute care settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and relevant healthcare systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion while providing patient-centered care.
- Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment and techniques used in various therapeutic interventions.
- Level II background check w/ Fingerprints required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid car insurance
- Social Security Card
- Passport or Employment Authorization or Permanent Resident card
- BLS/CPR 4-hour certification
- Current Annual Physical
- TB test or Chest Xray
- CEU: Alzheimer’s and Dementia 2-hour course
- COVID 19 Vaccination (Preferred)
