Job Description:
Our Covert, MI office is looking to hire compassionate caregivers immediately! In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one assistance to elderly clients, helping them with their daily needs and supporting their independence.
Our Covert, MI office is looking to hire compassionate caregivers immediately! In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one assistance to elderly clients, helping them with their daily needs and supporting their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist with activities like bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Mobility Support: Help clients with transfers, walking, and positioning in and out of bed or chairs.
- Meal Prep: Prepare meals and ensure clients’ dietary needs are met.
- Companionship: Foster meaningful relationships by spending quality time with clients, assisting with hobbies, and providing emotional support.
- Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take medications at prescribed times.
- Light Housekeeping: Ensure clients’ homes are safe and tidy, assisting with light cleaning tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care activities, noting any changes in health status or behavior.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- CNA or HHA certification is a plus.
- Ability to pass criminal background and drug screenings.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Compensation: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
