We are urgently seeking caregivers in Coloma, MI, to provide high-quality, in-home care for elderly clients and those with special needs. In this rewarding position, you’ll be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring that clients' homes remain safe and comfortable.
- Personal Care Assistance: Aid clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care.
- Companionship: Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Mobility Assistance: Help with transferring, walking, and positioning to ensure clients are comfortable and safe.
- Meal Assistance: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals based on client preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure that clients take their medications on time and as prescribed.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with daily cleaning tasks, including laundry, dishwashing, and light organizing.
- Health Monitoring: Track any changes in client health and report them to the family or supervising nurse.
- Documentation: Complete daily care logs and other required documentation to track client needs and progress.
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience preferred.
- CNA or HHA certification is beneficial.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screenings.
- Flexible and dependable with an empathetic nature.
