Homewatch Caregivers is seeking a caregiver for a male client who lives in the Upper Black Eddy area. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and support to our client, getting to know him, and allowing him to remain independent and happy in the comfort of his own home. 

This client is a veteran recovering from a stroke and is looking for a compassionate aide to provide him with quality care. He has a great sense of humor and likes to play games. If you are kind, patient, and have a genuine passion for helping others, this is the client for you!

HOURS NEEDED ARE M, W, Th 9am-2pm

Responsibilities

- Monitor and assist with client’s daily activities, provide emotional support and companionship, as well as responding to client requests.

- Provide direct support to clients with activities of daily life (personal hygiene, dressing, socialization, light housekeeping, etc.).

- Provide transfers and standby assistance while walking.

- Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

- Make connections and use every day as an opportunity to make a difference in our client’s life.
