Senior Helpers is currently recruiting professional, caring, and reliable caregivers to work with our senior clients that need a helping hand with daily ADLs, errands, rides to doctor’s appointments, and companionship from energetic people to fill their time during the day while the family is at work or school. Primary Responsibilities
- Companionship and conversation
- Personal Care (assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)
- Light Housekeeping/Household Management (incl. laundry and linen changing)
- Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)
- Meal planning and preparation
- Medication reminders
- Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)
- Transportation using own or client’s vehicle
- Helping family members learn safe care techniques
- Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
