We are urgently hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a caregiver, you will provide assistance with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and emotional support to elderly or disabled clients in their homes or care facilities.
We are urgently hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a caregiver, you will provide assistance with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and emotional support to elderly or disabled clients in their homes or care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation to reduce feelings of isolation
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
- Monitor client health by taking vital signs and reporting any changes to family members or healthcare providers
- Safely transport clients to appointments or errands when needed
- Administer medications as prescribed and help with physical exercises
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
