Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in Portage, MI. In this role, you will enhance the daily lives of individuals by assisting them with their personal needs in a respectful and dignified manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help with mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, accommodating dietary restrictions.
  • Manage medication schedules and ensure compliance with prescribed regimens.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
  • Monitor and document any changes in client health or behavior and report to supervisors or family members.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a healthcare role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move clients as needed.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
