Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in East Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Your commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Administer medication and manage healthcare appointments.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health status.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role required.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a passion for helping others.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
