- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Help with mobility assistance and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed.
- Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is a plus.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is required.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
