Job Title: Caregiver

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personal care and support in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
  • Help with mobility assistance and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed.
  • Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is required.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
