- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, following dietary guidelines and preferences.
- Assist with medication management, ensuring timely administration and proper documentation.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and social activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor and document clients’ health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
