Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Battle Creek, MI. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, following dietary guidelines and preferences.
  • Assist with medication management, ensuring timely administration and proper documentation.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
  • Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and social activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor and document clients’ health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
