Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Portage, MI. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document clients’ health and behavior, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare providers to create and implement personalized care plans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Must pass background checks and possess a valid driver’s license.

Compensation: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
